Camera Lens Depth of Field calculator

The hyperfocal distance is the precise focal distance at which depth of field is maximised for a given aperture and focal-length combination. It is useful for shooting landscape so that everything from foreground to background (at a very long distance) remain acceptably sharp.

Input Select sensor size

Select Aperture Values are calculated as sqrt(2)^n where n = 0,1,2,3...12

Output

Equivalent focal length/aperture etc.
